Who can take part
- You must have chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) that has not been treated before and needs treatment.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You should be able to take care of yourself (walk, work, etc.) and be up and about for at least half of the day (ECOG 0–2).
- Your liver, kidneys, and blood counts (platelets, hemoglobin, and white blood cells) need to be within safe ranges as tested in the clinic.
- You must be able to swallow pills and keep up with clinic visits and lab tests.
- If you could become pregnant, you must agree to use highly effective birth control during the study and for 30 days after the last dose.
