Brain activity in stroke patients during mirror movement

Who can take part

  • You had a first-ever stroke (either a clot or bleeding in the brain) that was confirmed by a CT or MRI scan.
  • Your affected hand's fingers can barely move (muscle strength grade 1 or less).
  • You are right-handed.
  • Your arm muscles are not too tight (spasticity grade 2 or lower on the Ashworth scale).
  • Your stroke happened within the last 6 months, and you are currently stable.
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old with normal or corrected vision and hearing.
