Who can take part

  • You must have squamous cell carcinoma of the anus or rectum that has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed with surgery.
  • You must have had at least one but no more than three previous cancer treatments (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or both) for advanced disease.
  • You should be 18 years or older and in good enough health to carry out daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You must provide a tumor tissue sample from a previous biopsy for testing.
  • You must have adequate kidney, liver, and bone marrow function based on blood tests.
  • You cannot have had certain prior treatments, such as irinotecan, topotecan, or drugs that target TROP2.
