Who can take part

  • You have had a heart attack or unstable angina in the last 7 days.
  • You have a widened artery (called ectasia) in the artery that caused your heart attack.
  • You are not currently taking a blood thinner (like warfarin or apixaban) for another condition.
  • Your kidneys are working well (eGFR above 30).
  • You have not had a major bleeding episode in the past.
