Who can take part

  • You are a licensed doctor currently working in an ICU, neuro-ICU, or respiratory ward.
  • If you are a junior doctor, you are in a residency program or in your first 2 years of a specialty fellowship. If you are a senior doctor, you have over 5 years of intensive care experience.
  • You already know how to use common mechanical ventilators like Hamilton, Dräger, or Puritan Bennett.
  • You are willing to take part in two simulation sessions, held 14 days apart.
  • You have not had formal training or significant experience with the ASL 5000 or RespiSim 'Digital Twin' or Aurora interface.
  • You can physically operate a ventilator and view a digital monitor, and you agree to be video recorded for study purposes.
