Who can take part

  • Your child is between 10 and 14 years old
  • Your child is physically able to safely do supervised resistance training (like light weights or resistance bands)
  • You (parent/guardian) provide written permission and your child agrees to participate
  • Your child can commit to attending all training sessions and following study procedures
  • Your child is not currently ill or recovering from a recent injury
  • Your child does not have chronic heart, metabolism, or hormone conditions that could be affected by exercise
