  • Scheduled for thoracic (chest) surgery using a minimally invasive telescopic approach (VATS)
  • Age 18 to 65 years old
  • General health status classified as Grade I or II (no serious underlying medical conditions)
  • No allergies to local anesthetic medications (numbing drugs)
  • Not a chronic pain medication user (not regularly taking opioids)
  • No bleeding disorders or infection at the intended injection site
