Who can take part

  • Your baby is less than 3 months old
  • Your baby has cholestasis, meaning their liver isn't filtering bile properly (elevated direct bilirubin level)
  • Your baby is already scheduled for a HIDA scan (a standard imaging test that looks at bile flow)
  • Your baby's kidneys are working well (no kidney disease)
  • Your baby has no severe bowel bleeding or history of bowel surgery
  • Your baby has no allergies to iodine, shellfish, or the ICG dye itself
