Who can take part

  • You are an older adult who has two or more signs of frailty (like weakness, slow walking, or weight loss) or a stroke survivor with stable condition.
  • You can wear and safely use a vibration device on your leg.
  • Your thinking and memory are normal (score of 23 or higher on a mental health test).
  • You have knee joint pain (for older adults) or can move your affected arm or leg at least a little (for stroke survivors).
  • You are willing to follow study procedures and attend vibration sessions up to 60 minutes each time.
