Lu AF28996 for Parkinson's Disease Motor Fluctuations

This trial tests a new medication called Lu AF28996 to help reduce the periods when Parkinson's symptoms worsen throughout the day (called 'OFF times'). If you have motor fluctuations that are predictable and affecting your daily life, this study might help you experience fewer of these difficult periods.

Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at least 3 years ago, after age 30
  • Experience noticeable, predictable motor fluctuations (OFF times) every day that significantly affect your activities
  • Motor fluctuations have been consistent and troubling for at least 3 months
  • Cognitive assessment score above 24 (adjusted for education level)
  • Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or unwilling to use contraception if of childbearing age
  • Not taken any experimental medications in the past 3 months
