Who can take part

  • Age 18–80 years old
  • Recent heart attack (non-STEMI) or unstable chest pain with a blocked artery suitable for balloon treatment
  • Blocked artery segment is small (≤28mm long) and medium-sized (2.5–3.0mm wide)
  • Artery successfully opened with initial balloon inflation, with minimal remaining blockage (≤30%)
  • No severe kidney disease or active dialysis
  • No allergies to aspirin, clopidogrel, contrast dye, paclitaxel, sirolimus, or related medicines
