This study tests if a special balloon coated with sirolimus can help stabilize or shrink non-blocking plaques in your heart arteries after a recent heart attack. You may be eligible if you've had a heart attack in the past 3 months and have at least two non-blocking plaques in different arteries.

Who can take part

  • You had a heart attack or unstable angina within the last 3 months and treatment for the main blockage was successful.
  • You have at least two non-blocking plaques in different heart arteries that are not the main cause of your recent event.
  • These plaques were measured by a special imaging test (IVUS or NIRS) and found to have a certain amount of fatty buildup.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing and able to give written consent to participate.
