Acupuncture treatment for recent-onset ringing in ears

Who can take part

  • Age 18–65 years old
  • Ringing in ears (tinnitus) that has bothered you for at least 2 weeks but less than 6 months
  • The ringing is bothersome enough to score in a specific range on a standard tinnitus questionnaire
  • You have never had acupuncture treatment before
  • You have not had injections, steroids, or other tinnitus medications in the past 2 weeks
  • You are willing to try acupuncture and not strongly prefer to take medication instead
