FULIRI plus targeted therapy for colorectal cancer with liver spread
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy (FULIRI) plus targeted therapy drugs to shrink colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. The goal is to make tumors small or removable enough for surgery, potentially offering a chance at cure.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years
- Confirmed colorectal adenocarcinoma (cancer) with liver metastases (spread to liver) that hasn't been treated yet
- Liver tumors deemed unresectable (unable to remove surgically) or hard to remove without significant risk
- At least one measurable tumor visible on CT scan
- Good overall health with adequate blood counts, liver, and kidney function
- No prior chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy after liver metastases were found

This study tests a combination of three drugs—tislelizumab (an immunotherapy), fruquintinib (a targeted therapy), and chidamide (a drug that may help immune cells fight cancer)—in people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and hasn't responded to standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this triple combination can shrink tumors or slow the disease.
This trial tests a new combination of three treatments (a drug called QL1706, a targeted therapy called fruquintinib, and a short course of radiation) for people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and has normal DNA repair. The goal is to see if this combination works better than the usual third-line therapy.
This trial tests a combination treatment that uses heat or cold (ablation) to destroy liver tumors along with medicines that boost your immune system to fight cancer. It is for people whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver and who could not have surgery, or whose first treatment stopped working.
This trial tests whether adding FOLFIRI chemotherapy after surgery for liver metastases from colorectal cancer can reduce the risk of the cancer coming back. It's for people whose liver tumors responded well to the same chemotherapy before surgery.
This trial tests whether a combination chemotherapy (Folfiri) plus cetuximab works better for people with stage IV colorectal cancer that has specific tumor gene markers and a specific blood-gene type. It may help you shrink tumors or control the cancer if you match the study’s required lab and health criteria.
This Phase 3 trial tests a treatment approach for colorectal cancer that cannot be removed with surgery at first but has spread only to the liver. It is intended for people whose tumor is RAS/BRAF “wild-type” and who are well enough to do daily activities, to see if the treatment can control the cancer better.
