Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have had asthma-like symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, or cough) for at least 2 months
  • You have not had a respiratory infection (like pneumonia, bronchitis, flu, or COVID-19) in the past 3 months
  • You are not a current smoker and have not smoked within the past 6 months (or smoked less than 10 packs total in your lifetime)
  • You do not have other chronic lung diseases like tuberculosis or interstitial lung disease
  • You have not taken inhaled corticosteroid asthma medications in the past 3 months
