Blood pressure monitoring study for rare tumors

This study follows patients with pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma (rare hormone-producing tumors) who are having surgery. Researchers will monitor your blood pressure closely during and after surgery using continuous monitoring technology and artificial intelligence to better understand and predict blood pressure changes.

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older
  • Diagnosed with pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma and scheduled for elective (planned) surgery to remove it
  • Willing to wear continuous glucose monitoring device before surgery and allow AI assessment
  • Able to attend follow-up visits after surgery
  • No severe heart disease, liver disease, or kidney disease
  • Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or had a heart attack, stroke, or severe infection in the last 3 months
