  • Generally healthy (ASA I or II: able to have surgery safely)
  • Normal weight range (BMI between 18.5 and 28)
  • No blindness or photosensitivity (sensitivity to light)
  • No current sleep medication or sleep disorders
  • No neurological diseases (brain or nerve disorders)
  • No severe liver or kidney disease
  • Not pregnant
  • No history of anesthesia problems or substance abuse
