Who can take part

  • You are 18–45 years old and weigh at least 50 kg (men) or 45 kg (women), with a healthy BMI between 18–28
  • You have had hepatitis B for at least 6 months, confirmed by blood tests or liver biopsy
  • Your blood tests show specific hepatitis B levels that match one of three study groups
  • You have not taken certain hepatitis B medications recently (timing varies by group)
  • You do not have serious liver damage, cirrhosis, liver cancer, or other major organ diseases
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or co-infected with hepatitis C, HIV, or syphilis
