Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 65 years old
  • You had your first stroke (either bleeding or clotting) within the last 3 months
  • Your stroke was confirmed by a brain scan (CT or MRI)
  • Your shoulder and arm have some strength left (not completely paralyzed)
  • Your arm muscles are tight but not severely stiff (mild to moderate spasticity)
  • You can think clearly and are in stable emotional health
