Who can take part

  • You had your first and only ischemic stroke (a blood clot in the brain), confirmed by CT or MRI scan
  • You are between 5 days and 6 months since your stroke
  • You are between 40 and 65 years old
  • Your thinking and memory are mostly intact (MoCA score of 20 or higher)
  • You have no serious anxiety or depression symptoms (HADS score below 11)
  • Your arm weakness is moderate—not completely paralyzed, but not fully strong (MRC grade 2–4)
  • You have mild to moderate muscle stiffness, not severe (Modified Ashworth Scale 3 or less)
  • No pacemakers, cochlear implants, or other implanted electronic devices
