Who can take part

  • Age 18–65 years
  • High risk for obstructive sleep apnea (score above 4 on STOP-Bang questionnaire, which asks about snoring, daytime tiredness, witnessed pauses in breathing, high blood pressure, BMI, age, neck size, and gender)
  • Confirmed lumbar disc herniation (bulging or slipped disc in lower spine) on MRI
  • Chronic lower back pain for at least 3 months with pain rated 4 or higher on a 0–10 scale
  • Able to attend regular physical therapy sessions and commit to the study
  • No prior back surgery, severe nerve compression, or urgent need for surgery
