Testing a Blood Pressure Bracelet for Daily Monitoring

This study tests whether wearing an Aktiia bracelet for 6 months can help doctors better understand and control your blood pressure. You'll wear the bracelet daily and visit the clinic twice to see if this wearable device helps manage high blood pressure that isn't controlled by current medications.

  • Age 21 to 85 years old
  • High blood pressure (systolic reading over 135 mmHg) that is not well controlled
  • Currently taking 0, 1, or 2 blood pressure medications
  • Have a smartphone (iPhone or Android) and Massachusetts General Hospital provider
  • Willing to wear a bracelet daily for 6 months and come to 2 clinic visits
  • No severe heart conditions, kidney disease, or skin allergies
