- You have a confirmed bacterial infection that is resistant to multiple antibiotics (confirmed by lab culture)
- You have not had a serious allergic reaction to any of the four antibiotics being studied (meropenem, colistin, imipenem/cilastatin, or tigecycline)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have not had recent seizures or other serious brain/nervous system events
