Surgery Recovery Study for Spine Cancer Paralysis

Who can take part

  • Age 18–80 years old
  • Diagnosis of cancer spread to the spine causing muscle weakness or paralysis
  • Scheduled for spinal surgery to decompress (relieve pressure) and/or stabilize the spine
  • Medically healthy enough to safely have surgery
  • Able to understand the study and sign a consent form
  • Willing and able to attend follow-up visits for nerve and movement testing
