Brain Stimulation to Improve Memory in Older Adults

Cognitive Dysfunction ( MMSE < 24 )

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) can help improve memory and thinking skills in people aged 60–75 who have noticed mild memory problems. You'll receive either real or sham (placebo) stimulation and undergo cognitive training over several weeks.

Who can take part

  • You are between 60 and 75 years old
  • You have mild memory problems (amnestic mild cognitive impairment) confirmed by a doctor
  • You are right-handed
  • You speak Spanish fluently and have at least 6 years of education
  • You have good vision and hearing to complete memory and thinking tests
  • A family member or caregiver can attend sessions with you for at least 10 hours per week
