Testing Cough Sensitivity With a Handheld Inhaler Device
Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This study tests whether a handheld nebulizer (a device that turns liquid medicine into mist) can reliably measure how sensitive your cough reflex is. Researchers will have you inhale citric acid (a harmless substance similar to lemon juice) and record your cough response to see if this method works well.
