  • Age 35–65 years old
  • BMI (body mass index) between 18.5 and 30 kg/m² (normal to slightly overweight range)
  • Blood tests showing signs of fatty liver disease: elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST, ALP) and inflammation markers (CRP, IL-6, TNF-α)
  • Blood sugar levels above normal (fasting >126 mg/dL or after eating >200 mg/dL)
  • Abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels
  • Not pregnant, not taking cholesterol medications, and no severe heart, liver, or kidney disease
