- You were admitted to an ICU between January 2022 and July 2024
- You received either ciprofol or propofol (sedation drugs) for at least 2 hours during your ICU stay
- Your sedation started while you were NOT on a breathing tube (invasive ventilation)
- You were receiving non-invasive breathing support (like oxygen mask, nasal tubes, or special high-flow oxygen) when sedation began
- Your medical records include sedation assessments and continuous monitoring of vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, breathing rate)
- You did not receive other sedation drugs like midazolam or dexmedetomidine during the observation period
