This study uses a new imaging technique (PET scan with a tracer called evuzamitide) to detect a type of heart disease called cardiac amyloidosis in patients whose standard heart scans were unclear but who have elevated levels of a new blood marker (TAD1). The goal is to find a better way to diagnose this condition.

Who can take part

  • You have heart failure or are a carrier of TTR gene changes without symptoms yet
  • Your standard nuclear heart scan was unclear (not diagnostic) for amyloidosis
  • Your TAD1 blood test shows elevated levels
  • You don't have signs of AL or AA amyloidosis (checked by specific blood tests)
  • You can provide written informed consent and follow all study visits and instructions
  • You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and not on certain blood thinners like heparin
