Who can take part
- You have amyloid cardiomyopathy (either ATTR or AL type) diagnosed by your doctor
- You have a history of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter (irregular heartbeats)
- You had a TEE (transesophageal echocardiogram—a special heart ultrasound) done within the last 2 weeks, or you have one scheduled in the next 2 weeks
- You can safely fit inside a PET/MR scanner and weigh 300 lbs or less
- You have no electrical implants like a pacemaker, defibrillator, or brain stimulator
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or major surgery in the last 3 months
