Testing Samelisant for Narcolepsy Daytime Sleepiness

Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of narcolepsy (with or without sudden muscle weakness episodes)
  • Your body mass index is between 18 and 45 kg/m²
  • You experience significant daytime sleepiness or at least 4 muscle weakness episodes per week (if you have the type with cataplexy)
  • You're willing to stop certain narcolepsy medications for at least 2 weeks before the study starts
  • You keep a consistent sleep schedule (going to bed before 1 am, waking before 9 am, sleeping at least 6 hours per night)
  • You can commit to keeping detailed sleep records and following all study procedures
