  • You actively train in a sport or exercise regularly (recreationally, not necessarily professional)
  • You have medical clearance from a doctor saying it's safe for you to exercise
  • You have not had a significant muscle, bone, or joint injury in the past 6 months
  • You don't have a chronic illness and don't take regular medications
  • You trained consistently (structured training) during the past year
  • You don't smoke and drink little to no alcohol
