  • Have obesity (BMI between 30–39.9)
  • Live in or near Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • Be willing to sleep in a special low-oxygen tent for 8 hours every night for 8 weeks
  • Stop taking certain medications (like sedatives, sleep aids, blood pressure drugs) for the entire study
  • Agree not to smoke, vape, use tobacco, or take supplements during the study
  • Have healthy oxygen levels and no heart, lung, or sleep disorders
