Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old and in good general health.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 25.
  • You do not have any known sleep disorders.
  • You are not a smoker (or stopped more than 3 months ago) and have smoked less than 10 pack-years total.
  • You are not taking any medications that affect breathing or sleep, like sedatives or antidepressants.
  • You are not pregnant, and if you are a woman of childbearing age, you use effective birth control.
