Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery to remove it (either partial or full removal of the breast)
  • Your doctor has recommended radiation therapy after your surgery as part of your treatment plan
  • You are scheduled to receive proton therapy (a targeted form of radiation) given over a shorter timeframe than standard treatment
  • You are in good enough health to receive radiation therapy (your doctor will assess this)
  • You can lie still for imaging scans and follow study instructions
  • If you can become pregnant, you agree to use birth control during the study
