Who can take part

  • You must be between 50 and 75 years old
  • You must be in good overall health with no serious active medical conditions
  • If you can have children, you must use effective birth control during the trial and for 90 days after treatment, and have a negative pregnancy test at the start
  • You cannot have had cancer in the past 2 years (except certain skin or cervical cancers that were completely removed)
  • You cannot take most prescription medications, though some stable long-term medications for chronic conditions may be allowed if unchanged for 3+ months
