TRAQ Minimally Invasive Sacroiliac Joint Fusion Study

Who can take part

  • Age 21 or older with BMI (body mass index) of 40 or less
  • Chronic low back or buttock pain for at least 6 months that hasn't responded well to non-surgical treatment
  • Clinical diagnosis of sacroiliac joint dysfunction confirmed by physical exam tests and positive response to two diagnostic joint injections
  • Moderate to severe pain and disability (pain score ≥60/100 and ODI disability score ≥30%)
  • At least one steroid injection in the sacroiliac joint within the past 12 months
  • Willingness to undergo the TRAQ procedure as determined by your doctor and to complete all study visits
