Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You are having a cesarean section after labor has already started (not a planned surgery before labor)
  • You are at least 34 weeks pregnant
  • You have received oxytocin (a labor-inducing medication) during your labor
  • You are carrying one baby with no known birth defects
  • You do not have bleeding problems, heart problems, high blood pressure complications, or placental issues
