Who can take part
- You are at least 55 years old
- You have received at least 2 intravitreal bevacizumab injections (eye injections) for diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, or age-related macular degeneration—OR you are a healthy volunteer with no eye disease (except cataracts)
- You do not have a history of heart attack, heart failure, irregular heartbeat requiring treatment, stroke, or mini-stroke
- You do not have chronic inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease
- You do not have ongoing infections or other eye diseases (such as glaucoma, uveitis, or retinal dystrophies)
- You are willing to provide written consent and allow blood tests
