  • You have been diagnosed with peripheral artery disease with stable leg pain when walking (intermittent claudication)
  • You are between 50 and 70 years old
  • You can walk on your own without a cane, walker, or other assistive device
  • Your heart condition is stable and your doctor says it's safe for you to exercise
  • You are willing and able to commit to an exercise program over the study period
  • You have not had leg surgery or a procedure to open blood vessels in the past 6 months
