Who can take part

  • You are a male 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma (confirmed by biopsy within 18 months) with a Gleason score of 7 or lower
  • Your cancer is localized (stages T1c–T3a) with no spread to lymph nodes or distant organs
  • Your PSA level is 30 ng/ml or lower (or 15 ng/ml if taking 5-alpha reductase inhibitors)
  • You have not received prior radiation to the pelvis or active prostate cancer treatment (except hormone therapy or watchful waiting)
  • You are in good enough health for radiotherapy and have a life expectancy of at least 5 years
