Who can take part

  • Child is between 1 and 5 years old
  • Child has been diagnosed with congenital heart disease (confirmed by heart ultrasound)
  • Child is underweight for their age (below the 10th percentile on growth charts)
  • Child is medically stable and able to eat by mouth or through a feeding tube
  • Parent or guardian can commit to following dietary instructions and attending follow-up visits
  • Child has not had heart surgery in the past 4 weeks
