Who can take part

  • You have a wound between 10–100 cm² (roughly the size of a postage stamp to a playing card) that needs surgical repair
  • Your wound is either fresh (from burns, trauma, or scar removal) or chronic (like diabetic foot ulcers or pressure injuries)
  • Your wound bed has been prepared—meaning dead tissue is removed and any infection is controlled
  • You are willing to receive tissue-engineered material (lab-grown skin substitute) and commit to long-term follow-up visits
  • You do not have a known allergy to collagen or animal/donor tissue products
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
