Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Be a current or former U.S. Service Member (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, or Veteran)
- For the exposed group: have deployed to a location with burn pit operations; for the control group: no burn pit deployment
- Be willing to answer health questionnaires and provide a blood sample
- Be able to speak English or access approved translation support
- Be in stable enough health to participate (not in active serious illness or recent intensive cancer/immune therapy)
