This study tests whether a drug called emapalumab can prevent serious side effects (cytokine release syndrome and immune cell toxicity) when you receive a newer type of cancer treatment called bispecific antibodies. You may qualify if you have blood cancer (large B-cell lymphoma or multiple myeloma) that hasn't responded to previous treatments and are about to start bispecific antibody therapy.

Who can take part
- You have large B-cell lymphoma or multiple myeloma that has not responded to or has returned after previous treatments
- You are planned to receive a bispecific antibody therapy (such as epcoritamab or glofitamab) as your next cancer treatment
- You are at least 18 years old and able to walk around with minimal assistance (ECOG score 0–2)
- Your blood counts and organ function (kidney, liver, heart, lungs) are adequate based on recent blood tests and imaging
- You have had no recent transplants, active infections, heart attacks, seizures, or uncontrolled autoimmune disease
- You are willing to use birth control during the study and for 6 months after your bispecific therapy if you can become pregnant
