  • Have no allergy to milk or dairy products
  • Not be pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
  • Be willing to drink milk beverages, fast overnight before visits, and provide blood, breath, and urine samples
  • Not use tobacco or nicotine products, and avoid certain medications (like diabetes drugs, stomach acid reducers) for 1–4 weeks before starting
