Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 20 to 50, or a woman aged 20 to 45 who has not gone through menopause.
  • You sleep about 4 to 5.5 hours a night on a regular schedule and feel rested without daytime naps.
  • You have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 35.
  • You are in good physical and mental health, with no sleep disorders, digestive issues, or recent use of antibiotics or certain supplements.
  • You are willing to keep a sleep diary, use a wearable ring, and attend two in-person visits.
  • You have regular bowel movements at least 5 days a week, and do not wake up often during the night.
