Who can take part

  • You are 65 years old or older
  • You were treated for a mild head injury (concussion) at a University of Maryland hospital within 72 hours of the injury
  • You do not have serious injuries to other body parts (besides your head)
  • You are expected to be able to walk with help within 2 weeks of your injury
  • You do not have a history of dementia or memory loss disease
  • You live within 55 miles of the main hospital (R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center) in Baltimore
