Who can take part

  • You had surgery within the last 12 weeks to remove your colorectal cancer and all liver spots, with scans showing no cancer remains
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your blood counts are healthy enough (good white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets)
  • Your kidney and liver function are adequate to handle chemotherapy
  • You have not had chemotherapy before, or if you did, it did not contain irinotecan and your last dose was more than 3 months ago
  • You are in good enough health to tolerate treatment (able to care for yourself with minimal assistance)
