Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have colorectal cancer or bile duct cancer that has spread to the liver, with no cancer found outside the liver (except up to 5 stable lung spots or lymph nodes near the liver that can be removed).
- Your liver cancer cannot be removed by surgery (Group A or C) or can be completely removed (Group B).
- You are in good physical condition (able to perform daily activities with little or no help).
- Blood tests show adequate liver and kidney function, and enough blood cells (no severe anemia, infection, or bleeding problems).
- You can travel every 2 weeks for 6 months for treatment, either to Lexington, KY or to a local community site.
- If you have HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, you must be on effective treatment and have an undetectable viral load.
- You must not have had prior radiation to the liver or certain other cancers that could interfere with this study.
